CPCS/NOCN

JF Services can offer training and testing on all types of construction and plant equipment to gain a CPCS Card.  CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) is a card scheme created to reflect and showcase the competence of plant operating personnel. Launched in 2003, CPCS is a standard to show how competent a plant worker is. It is controlled and run by CITB (Construction Industry Training Board). The main objective of creating CPCS is to standardize different practices for plant and machine operators throughout the country. The courses must all be taken at a registered training centre.

Our tailored in house training solution gives employers the option of a convenient way of training without the expense both in time & travel for your employees.

An NVQ is a nationally recognised qualification within all trades and industries within the UK. To progress through the CPCS scheme you must complete an NVQ to upgrade your red trained operators to a blue competent operator’s card. You cannot re-take your test and get another red card, to keep your CPCS Operators card you must complete an NVQ on the category of plant you operate.

NVQ - OSAT
